Classic Yellow Flesh Clingstone Nectarine

Ripens:  -22, July 3rd, 4 Days Before Summer Grand

 

Skin Color:  Full, shiny, red with very little freckling.

Chilling Hours:  650

Shape:  Globose.

Bloom Date:  With Ruby  Diamond.

Size:  GIANT, 48’s, 42’s, 56’s in breeding grounds.

Bloom Density:  Very heavy.

Texture:  Very firm.

Blossom Type:  Showy.

Eating Quality:  Very good, similar to Spring Bright.

Cropping:  Good setter.

 

NOTES:

Grand Bright (50P1004) is a new release that is GIANT in size, full orange-red in color, globose in shape, very firm in texture, and very good in flavor.  It ripens about 4 days before Summer Grand and is productive with medium chilling requirements, similar to Summer Bright.
